My niece who is only a mere three weeks old, sent me an e-mail today. I have this mental image of her during tummy time, typing an e-mail on her laptop. She also attached a picture that I must share. Can't wait to meet you little lady.
Life is like a garden, beautiful and creative. You fuss over it and tend it, but sometimes there is going to be a weed. Those weeds makes us work harder to perfect our garden.

Kitchen Remodel, Hooray!!
Our contractor stopped by to get some ideas and talk to us about the "remodel". Ry and I plan on renting our house someday soon, so we aren't going all out. We are replacing the cabinets, floor, counters, sink, and backsplash. We will also be adding a breakfast bar. Right now our kitchen is circa 1950 crap, yuck. The countertops have gold flecks that oddly look similar to crumbs. I scrub the counters daily even though they are clean. I will keep everyone updated and post before and after pics. Surviving without a kitchen for two weeks here we come. This is not going to be good for the diet.

Niece #2.
On January 13, Kendall Caroline was born at 12:38am. She is keeping mom and dad very busy. From what I have heard she is beautiful. I can't wait until we get to go visit the little bundle of joy. Congrats Scott and Shelby!!
